This is just a note to thank you for introducing us to Long Term Care insurance. Little did we know how important this company would become to us. Like the fairy tales, we expected to be healthy and able to care for ourselves forever. Wrong!

A few months ago, R---- was told he has lung cancer. Our plan is to keep him here at home, and with the insurance we have, we should be able to. The company has called us to see how things are going and to ask what we need to make his care easier.

Dear Philip,

.What a blessing the Long Term care policy was to J- and I. J- retired in 1998.. but by 2001 I was looking for a home that would take care of him, for by the end of 2001 he couldn't walk to talk.

I called the long term care company. and from that day until the day J- passed away in February 2003 and they were there any time I needed them....

Because of the policy I didn't have to use as much of the retirement money that we had saved, nor worry as much about how much a good home would cost for his care. I have watched people with and without LTC policies, and I am so glad we had something like this in our lives when we needed it so much. When we got this LTC policy, I never had any idea how much it would mean in our lives.
